The Milwaukee Wave professional indoor soccer team is the longest- running professional soccer team in the country. In spring, 2012, the Wave completed their 28th season by winning their second consecutive and sixth overall Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) championship.

In the 2012-13 season, the Wave plays 26 games, half at home and half on the road, against its six rivals in the MISL. The Wave regular season concludes with five of their last six games on the road, ending Sunday, March 3 at home against the Wichita Wings.
